Description
Veronica longifolia \’Pink Damask\’ is a tall, upright perennial producing dense spikes of soft pink flowers above narrow, lance-shaped green foliage. Blooming from mid to late summer, the flower spikes create a striking vertical element in borders, mixed plantings, and wildlife-friendly gardens. Its elegant, architectural form adds height and structure without overwhelming neighbouring plants, while the long-lasting blooms provide a gentle, pastel splash of colour that complements sunny perennial borders or naturalistic schemes.
This variety thrives in full sun and prefers moist but well-drained soil. It is highly attractive to pollinators such as bees and butterflies, which feed on its nectar throughout the flowering period. Once established, it requires minimal maintenance, with occasional deadheading encouraging prolonged blooming and maintaining tidy growth. Veronica longifolia \’Pink Damask\’ combines ornamental beauty with ecological value, making it a reliable and charming choice for sunny garden borders.
