Hosta ‘Lakeside Cup Cake’ – 2026

Description

Hosta ‘Lakeside Cupcake’ is a charming miniature perennial that adds unique texture and color to shaded garden spaces. This cultivar features rounded, cupped leaves with blue-green margins and creamy yellow centers that mature to white. The foliage forms a compact mound, making it an excellent choice for borders, woodland gardens, or containers.

In mid to late summer, ‘Lakeside Cupcake’ produces short scapes adorned with pale lavender flowers that rise above the foliage, attracting pollinators such as hummingbirds. This hosta thrives in moist, well-drained, organically rich soil and prefers partial to full shade.
