Description
Sedum \’Blue Pearl\’, also known as Hylotelephium \’Blue Pearl\’, is a clump-forming perennial admired for its striking blue-green, fleshy foliage and clusters of soft pink, star-shaped flowers that appear from late summer into early autumn. The upright stems rise above the dense, textured foliage, creating an elegant architectural display that works well in borders, gravel gardens, or container plantings. Its long-lasting blooms gradually mature, providing season-long colour and visual interest.
Thriving in full sun and well-drained soil, this plant tolerates poor or dry conditions and is highly drought-tolerant once established. The nectar-rich flowers attract bees, butterflies, and other pollinators, adding ecological value to the garden. Low-maintenance and hardy, Sedum \’Blue Pearl\’ requires minimal care beyond trimming spent flower heads in late winter to encourage fresh growth. Its combination of striking foliage, long-lasting flowers, and reliability make it a versatile and attractive choice for a range of garden settings.
