Philadelphus ‘Petite Perfume Pink’

Description

Better known as Mock Orange, Philadelphus Petite Perfume Pink is a dwarf garden shrub that produces an abundance of flowers in summer. The bright pink blooms have yellow stamens and decorate the plant in June and July, exuding an alluring perfume that permeates any outdoor space. These flowers are a magnet for pollinators, enticing bees and butterflies into the garden all season long.

This cultivar has a compact growing habit, making it ideal for smaller gardens. Petite Perfume Pink can be used to add colour and interest to beds and borders or as feature plants in garden pots and patio containers. The blooms make excellent cut flowers, allowing you to enjoy their fragrance inside the home.

Plant Mock Orange in full sun or partial shade in well-draining soil. Water regularly until established, after which Philadelphus is relatively drought tolerant. Lightly prune immediately after flowering to maintain the plants neat size and shape.
