Iris sibirica ‘Contrast in Styles’ – 2026

Description

Iris sibirica ‘Contrast in Styles’ is a bold and distinctive Siberian iris that brings a unique flair to the garden. Its flowers display a dramatic combination of violet-blue standards and falls with striking cream to golden-yellow style arms streaked with purple, creating an effect that truly lives up to its name. The upright foliage forms elegant clumps that provide structure even after the flowers have faded, making it an excellent choice for borders, naturalistic plantings, or waterside gardens.

This perennial thrives in moist but well-drained soils and grows best in full sun to partial shade, where it will reliably return each year with a flush of vibrant blooms. Flowering in early to mid-summer, ‘Contrast in Styles’ is valued for its resilience, low maintenance needs, and its ability to attract pollinators such as bees and butterflies. It is also tolerant of a wide range of conditions, making it a versatile addition to both formal and informal garden designs.
