Description
Hemerocallis ‘Duke of Durham’ is an elegant daylily cultivar prized for its rich crimson-red blooms with a soft, pale yellow-green throat. The flowers open in mid-season above neat clumps of arching, strap-like green foliage, bringing vibrant colour and a touch of refinement to borders or mixed perennial schemes.
This cultivar thrives in full sun to partial shade and thrives in a wide variety of well-drained soils. Once established, it is drought-tolerant and holds up well through summer heat. ‘Duke of Durhams’ striking blooms and sturdy foliage make it a reliable and sophisticated choice for both formal and naturalistic garden plantings.
