Geum ‘Fire Storm’

Description

Geum Fire Storm is a clump-forming herbaceous perennial shrub providing compact but vigorous growth in the form of multiple stems bearing blazing orange flowers in the Summer. The flowers are tipped with a touch of red giving them the appearance of a fiery twister, hence the name. The flowers contrast nicely with the rough, dark green leaves that grow below making for reasonable groundcover.

Plant in moist, well-drained soil and keep in full or partial sun. deadhead to encourage flowering of fresh buds. Generally low maintenance but will die back during harsh Winters, returning in the Spring months.

Please Note: When purchasing plants please consider that each live item is unique and may therefore differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only. Ongoing plant maintenance within our nursery is essential, meaning some lines are pruned back at certain times of the year to encourage new growth.
