Description
Geranium psilostemon ‘Iwan’ is a striking perennial that brings vibrant colour and structure to sunny borders and garden beds. A hybrid between Geranium psilostemon and Geranium oxonianum, it features large, magenta-pink flowers with dark centres and veining, creating a dramatic contrast against its deeply lobed, mid-green foliage. Blooming from late spring into summer, ‘Iwan’ attracts pollinators and adds a bold visual impact to the garden.
This hardy geranium thrives in full sun and well-drained soil, making it ideal for dry, sunny spots. It is fully hardy and relatively low-maintenance, requiring minimal care once established. Regular deadheading can encourage prolonged flowering, and the plant’s dense foliage helps suppress weeds. With its vibrant flowers and robust nature, ‘Iwan’ is a valuable addition to any garden, offering both aesthetic appeal and ecological benefits.
