Echinacea purpurea ‘Sensation Mango’ – 2026

Description

Echinacea purpurea ‘Sensation Mango’ is a striking perennial that adds a vibrant splash of colour to any garden. This cultivar features large, daisy-like flowers with creamy, pale yellow petals surrounding a prominent central orange cone. The upright, clump-forming habit makes it ideal for borders, prairie-style plantings, or as a focal point in the garden. Flowering from midsummer through early autumn, ‘Sensation Mango’ provides extended colour and attracts pollinators such as bees and butterflies, enhancing garden biodiversity.

Preferring full sun and well-drained soil, ‘Sensation Mango’ is drought-tolerant once established and relatively low-maintenance. Regular deadheading encourages prolonged blooming, while leaving some seed heads provides winter interest and food for birds. This cultivar pairs beautifully with grasses, rudbeckias, and salvias, adding a touch of elegance to perennial borders or mixed garden beds. With its unique appearance and ecological benefits, ‘Sensation Mango’ is a valuable addition to any garden.
