Description

Aruncus \’Misty Lace\’ is a compact hybrid goats beard bred for excellent garden performance, combining the hardiness of Aruncus dioicus with the smaller scale of Aruncus aethusifolius. This cultivar forms neat mounds of finely cut, fern-like foliage that stay attractive throughout the growing season. In early summer, it produces airy plumes of tiny white flowers that rise gracefully above the leaves, creating a misty, lace-like effect that gives the plant its name. The flowers are highly attractive to pollinators, particularly bees, making it a wildlife-friendly choice. With its tidy growth habit and tolerance of heat and humidity, \’Misty Lace\’ is suitable for smaller gardens and works well in borders, shaded beds, or woodland plantings. It is a resilient and adaptable perennial, valued for both its ornamental foliage and elegant blooms.
