Anemone hupehensis ‘September Charm’ – 2026

Description

Anemone hupehensis ‘September Charm’ is a highly popular Japanese anemone cultivar, celebrated for its soft pink, semi-double flowers that elegantly float above a clump of dark green, deeply lobed foliage. Blooming from late summer into autumn, the flowers create a long-lasting display that brightens borders, woodland gardens, and shaded areas, providing colour when many other perennials have finished. The airy stems give the plant a delicate, graceful appearance, and the flowers attract bees and other pollinators, supporting late-season biodiversity. ‘September Charm’ is hardy, low-maintenance, and reliable, establishing clumps that gradually expand, offering consistent performance year after year. It thrives in moist, well-drained soil and benefits from occasional mulching to maintain vigour and prolong the flowering season.
