Description
Veronica spicata ‘Nana Blauteppich’ is a low-growing, clump-forming perennial that produces dense mats of vibrant blue flowers above narrow, lance-shaped green foliage. Blooming from early to late summer, the flower spikes create a long-lasting carpet of colour, making it ideal for rock gardens, edging, low borders, or container plantings. Its compact habit and intense blue blooms provide both structure and visual impact in sunny garden areas.
This variety thrives in full sun and prefers well-drained soil. It is highly attractive to pollinators such as bees and butterflies, offering abundant nectar throughout its flowering season. Once established, it is low-maintenance, requiring only occasional deadheading to prolong bloom and maintain a tidy appearance. Veronica spicata ‘Nana Blauteppich’ combines ornamental charm with ecological value, making it a reliable and attractive choice for sunny low-growing borders and rock gardens.
