Thalictrum delavayi ‘Splendide White’ – 2026

Description

Thalictrum delavayi ‘Splendide White’ is a tall, clump-forming perennial with finely divided, fern-like foliage and airy panicles of pure white flowers that bloom from mid to late summer. The upright, graceful stems provide vertical structure and movement, creating an elegant and ethereal display in borders, cottage gardens, and naturalistic plantings. Its nectar-rich flowers attract bees, butterflies, and other pollinators, offering both ornamental charm and ecological value.

Thriving in full sun to partial shade with moist, well-drained soil, Thalictrum delavayi ‘Splendide White’ is hardy and low-maintenance. Cutting back after flowering encourages fresh growth and helps maintain a tidy, compact habit. Its combination of striking white flowers, architectural form, and wildlife benefits makes it a versatile and rewarding choice for adding height, texture, and late summer interest to a wide range of garden settings.
