Thalictrum delavayi ‘Album’ – 2026

Description

Thalictrum delavayi ‘Album’ is a tall, clump-forming perennial with finely divided, fern-like foliage and airy panicles of pure white flowers that bloom from mid to late summer. The elegant, upright stems create vertical structure and a delicate, ethereal display in borders, cottage gardens, and naturalistic plantings. Its nectar-rich flowers attract bees, butterflies, and other pollinators, providing both ornamental beauty and ecological value.

Thriving in full sun to partial shade with moist, well-drained soil, Thalictrum delavayi ‘Album’ is hardy and low-maintenance. Cutting back after flowering helps maintain a tidy habit and encourages fresh growth. Its combination of striking white flowers, architectural form, and pollinator support makes it a versatile and rewarding choice for adding height, texture, and late summer interest to a wide range of garden settings.
