Description
Solidago \’Super\’ is a vigorous, clump-forming perennial renowned for its rich green, lance-shaped foliage and upright stems that bear dense plumes of bright golden-yellow flowers in late summer to early autumn. The tall, architectural flower spikes provide long-lasting colour and texture in borders, mixed perennial beds, and naturalistic plantings. The profuse blooms attract bees, butterflies, and other pollinators, adding ecological value alongside its ornamental appeal.
Thriving in full sun with well-drained soil, Solidago \’Super\’ is hardy and low-maintenance. Cutting back after flowering helps maintain a neat habit and encourages fresh growth for the following season. Its combination of striking flowers, structural form, and wildlife benefits makes it a versatile and reliable choice for enhancing late-season colour and interest in a wide range of garden settings.
