Description
Rudbeckia laciniata \’Goldquelle\’ is a vigorous, clump-forming perennial producing finely cut, deeply lobed foliage and tall stems topped with bright golden-yellow daisy-like flowers from mid to late summer. Its bold vertical habit makes it ideal for back borders, naturalistic plantings, and wildlife-friendly gardens. The large, long-lasting flowers attract bees, butterflies, and other pollinators, adding ecological value while providing vibrant summer and autumn colour.
It thrives in full sun to partial shade in moist, fertile, well-drained soil and is relatively low-maintenance once established. Non-native to the UK, it is appreciated for its towering stature, ornamental impact, and ability to add height and brightness to mixed borders and naturalistic schemes.
