Description
Potentilla ‘William Rollisson’ is a compact, clump-forming perennial that produces semi-double orange-red flowers with a yellow centre from early to late summer. The blooms sit above a low mound of dark green, strawberry-like foliage, creating a striking contrast and long-lasting display. Its tidy habit and prolific flowering make it ideal for sunny borders, rockeries, or containers. Deadheading spent flowers encourages further blooms, while the foliage provides structure when not in flower. This cultivar attracts pollinators and offers ecological value throughout its flowering season.
It thrives in full sun to partial shade in well-drained soil and is low-maintenance once established. Although non-native to the UK, it is hardy and reliable, offering long-lasting ornamental interest.
