Description
Phlox paniculata \’Pina Colada\’ is a compact, upright perennial with dark green lance-shaped foliage. From midsummer into early autumn it produces fragrant pure white, tubular flowers with overlapping petals in upright panicles, creating a very full, clean display. The blooms are highly attractive to pollinators including bees and butterflies, while its dwarf habit makes it suitable for borders, containers or cottage garden plantings.
Thriving in fertile, moist but well-drained soil and with good air circulation, \’Pina Colada\’ prefers full sun to partial shade. Deadheading spent flowers encourages continued flowering and helps maintain a neat appearance. It combines aesthetic value, fragrance and wildlife benefit, making it a rewarding addition to UK gardens.
