Persicaria amplexicaulis ‘White Eastfield’ – 2026

Description

Persicaria amplexicaulis White Eastfield is an elegant perennial that produces upright spikes of pure white flowers from midsummer into autumn. The delicate blooms rise above clumps of lush green foliage, bringing height, texture, and long-lasting colour to mixed borders, naturalistic plantings, or wildlife-friendly gardens. Its nectar-rich flowers attract bees, butterflies, and other pollinators, providing ecological value as well as ornamental appeal.

This hardy perennial thrives in moist, fertile soil and prefers a position in full sun to partial shade. It forms dense, vigorous clumps that are low-maintenance, requiring only a cut back of old stems in late winter to encourage fresh spring growth. Persicaria amplexicaulis White Eastfield combines reliability, seasonal beauty, and wildlife support, making it a versatile and rewarding addition to UK gardens.
