Malus Pink Glow

Description

Pink Glow is an ornamental crab apple tree valued for its vivid pink spring blossom and attractive purple flushed foliage. The tree forms a compact, rounded canopy and provides strong seasonal interest, with young leaves emerging bronze-purple before maturing to dark green. Small decorative fruits may follow flowering, adding subtle colour and visual interest later in the year rather than being grown for culinary use.

In spring, Pink Glow produces masses of rich pink flowers that are highly attractive to bees and other pollinators, making it an excellent choice for supporting garden wildlife. It grows best in fertile, well drained soil and performs particularly well in a sunny position, where flower colour and foliage tones are most intense. Well suited to UK gardens and ornamental planting schemes, Pink Glow combines striking visual appeal with valuable ecological benefits.
