Description
Ligularia wilsoniana is a bold perennial featuring large, rounded, deep green leaves that form a striking clump in shaded or partially shaded garden areas. Its tall, upright stems produce spikes of bright yellow-orange flowers, adding vertical interest and vibrant summer colour. The blooms attract pollinators such as bees and butterflies, enhancing the ecological value of woodland borders, damp garden beds, and shaded planting schemes.
This hardy perennial thrives in partial shade to full shade and prefers moist, fertile soils. Flowering from mid to late summer, Ligularia wilsoniana is appreciated for its low-maintenance growth, architectural foliage, and long-lasting flower spikes. Its combination of bold leaves, vivid blooms, and wildlife-friendly qualities ensures it provides both ornamental and practical benefits in shaded garden spaces.
