Description
Hosta \’Guardian Angel\’ is a striking perennial that adds elegance to shaded garden spaces. This cultivar, a sport of the award-winning \’Blue Angel\’, showcases large, thick, blue-green leaves with a creamy white centre that gradually transitions to a misty green as the season progresses. The foliage forms a dense, arching mound, making it an excellent choice for borders, woodland gardens, or as a specimen plant.
In mid to late summer, \’Guardian Angel\’ produces clusters of light lavender flowers that rise above the foliage, attracting pollinators like hummingbirds. This hosta thrives in moist, well-drained, organically rich soil and prefers partial to full shade, though it can tolerate some morning sun.
