Hemerocallis ‘Ribbonette’ – 2026

Description

Hemerocallis ‘Ribbonette’ is a captivating daylily cultivar known for its striking red flowers with a distinctive green throat. The blooms, approximately 12 cm (5 inches) in diameter, feature narrow, recurved petals that create a spidery appearance, adding a dynamic vertical accent to the garden. This midseason bloomer, introduced by Lenington-G. in 1951, has earned an AHS Honorable Mention Award for its exceptional beauty and performance.

Thriving in full sun to partial shade with well-drained, moderately moist soil, Hemerocallis ‘Ribbonette’ is a low-maintenance perennial that adds vibrant colour to borders, perennial beds, or naturalistic plantings. Its reblooming nature ensures extended floral interest throughout the growing season, while its deciduous foliage provides structure and texture to the garden even in colder months.
