Description
Hemerocallis ‘Nippon’ is a striking daylily cultivar known for its creamy white petals with a bold red eyezone and a green throat, creating a vibrant and dramatic display. The ruffled edges add texture and visual interest, making it a standout choice for borders, containers, or mass plantings. Its mid to late summer flowering period ensures a long-lasting display of colour.
The arching, dark green foliage forms a dense, semi-evergreen clump that complements the flowers and provides year-round garden structure. ‘Nippon’ is resilient and low-maintenance, thriving in full sun to partial shade with moist, well-drained soil. Its reliable blooming habit and strong garden performance make it suitable for a variety of garden settings while supporting pollinators throughout the season.
