Description
Hemerocallis ‘Beyond Riches’ is a striking daylily cultivar renowned for its warm coral-orange blooms adorned with a golden ruffled edge and a yellow-green throat. Each flower spans approximately 13 cm and is set atop sturdy scapes that reach about 71 cm in height. This evergreen tetraploid variety is a prolific rebloomer, ensuring a continuous display of vibrant flowers from early to mid-summer, often extending into early autumn. Its sculpted petals and bold colouration make it a standout addition to any garden.
Ideal for borders, perennial beds, or as a specimen plant, ‘Beyond Riches’ thrives in full sun and prefers fertile, moist but well-drained soil. It is tolerant of heavy clay and poorer soils, though flowering may be reduced in shadier conditions. This low-maintenance cultivar requires minimal care beyond occasional deadheading to promote continuous blooming. Its resilience to various growing conditions and ability to attract pollinators make it a valuable addition to gardens aiming to support local biodiversity.
