Description
Geranium nodosum is a hardy, perennial plant valued for its delicate pink flowers that bloom from late spring to early summer above finely divided, medium-green foliage. The flowers, carried gracefully above a low-growing, clump-forming habit, provide a soft, elegant splash of colour in woodland gardens, shaded borders, or naturalistic planting schemes. Its compact growth makes it suitable for underplanting shrubs or groundcover areas, while the blooms attract pollinators, supporting garden biodiversity.
Thriving in partial shade to full shade with moist, well-drained soil, Geranium nodosum is hardy and low-maintenance. It tolerates a variety of soil types, including humus-rich soils, and requires minimal care to maintain its neat form and abundant flowering. Its combination of delicate blooms, attractive foliage, and pollinator-friendly nature makes it a charming and reliable choice for shaded or semi-shaded garden areas.
