Description
Eupatorium maculatum \’Riesenschirm\’ is a tall, upright perennial valued for its large, dense clusters of deep pink flowers that bloom from mid to late summer above dark green foliage. Its robust, vertical stems provide height and structure in borders, naturalistic plantings, or wildflower gardens, while the flowers attract pollinators, including bees and butterflies, adding late-season interest.
Thriving in full sun to partial shade with moist, well-drained soil, Eupatorium maculatum \’Riesenschirm\’ is hardy and low-maintenance. It tolerates a variety of soil conditions and may benefit from staking in exposed positions, making it a reliable and long-lasting addition to perennial borders and naturalistic gardens.
