Description

Delphinium ‘Delphi’s Evening Light’ is a cultivar within the Delphinium elatum group, known for its elegant light violet flowers with a subtle white eye. This variety produces single blooms borne on tall, slender stems, adding vertical interest to summer borders. The flowers are complemented by dark green, lobed foliage, creating a visually appealing contrast. Typically, the inflorescences reach lengths of 120150 cm, contributing to the plant’s overall height.

Ideal for adding vertical interest to borders or mixed beds, ‘Delphi’s Evening Light’ thrives in well-drained, fertile soils and prefers full sun. Its robust stature makes it suitable for planting in the back of garden beds, where it can serve as a backdrop for shorter perennials. Regular watering and support during blooming can help maintain its upright form and encourage abundant flowering.
