Delosperma ‘Jewel of Desert Peridott’

Description

Delosperma Jewel of Desert Peridott is a highly aggressive, mat-forming succulent bred directly from tough South African genetics, forming a dense, ground-hugging carpet of fleshy, apple-green foliage. It completely smothers itself in blazing, neon-yellow daisy-shaped flowers with a contrasting white centre throughout the hottest parts of the summer.

To keep it alive, you must treat it incredibly mean and provide baking hot, full sun alongside exceptionally sharp drainage, planting it in pure sand, grit, or gravel. You must actively withhold the watering can; if you force this desert specialist to sit in heavy, wet soil, the fleshy crown will instantly turn to mush and rot away.

Please Note: When purchasing plants, please consider that each live item is unique and may therefore differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only. The plant will be supplied in a growers pot. Depending on season, some plants may be pruned back to encourage growth and deciduous plants may arrive without leaves.
