Choisya ‘Scented Gem’

Description

Commonly known as Mexican Orange Blossom, Choisya Scented Gem is a wonderfully fragrant evergreen garden plant that flowers twice a year. In spring, pink buds appear and open out into highly scented white flowers that attract bees, butterflies, and other pollinators to the garden. A second flush of flowers emerges in October, providing floral interest just as other plants are beginning to fade for the season.

Choisya is a low maintenance plant and doesnt take much looking after. It prefers a sheltered, spot in full sun or partial shade and thrives in moist, well-draining soil. A light annual prune after flowering is enough to tidy up any stray shoots.

The plant will be supplied in a growers pot. Depending on season, some plants may be pruned back to encourage growth and deciduous plants may arrive without leaves.
