Buddleia ‘Petite Dark Pink’

Description

Buddleia Dark Pink Butterfly Bush has a compact branching habit that makes it a suitable flowering plant for small gardens. It blooms dark pink flowers profusely on arching branches, creating a vibrant glowing fountain. These cone-shaped clusters of gorgeous pink blooms attract butterflies, bees and hummingbird.

Buddleja Dark Pink are deciduous shrubs with tolerant to heat and drought. They are easy to grow flowering shrubs that thrive in full to partial sunlight. Their ability to adapt to any dry soil with average moisture makes them a perfect choice for an outdoor garden.

These Butterfly Bushes will not invade your garden space. Use them as ground cover or plant them in container pots. Their compact growing habit and dwarf size makes them suitable for a patio or pool area as well.

Buddleia plants are popular for their long-lasting flowering period. They will bloom all summer and if faded flowers are pruned timely, then new blooms will show up as well. The flowers will last until mid-autumn. Their green leaves have silver undersides that add floral value and garden interest.

Since Buddleia shrubs are deciduous, some pruning is required before spring to keep the plant in proper shape. Add a mulch of organic compost to the base of the plant to encourage moisture retention.
