Beurre Hardy Pear

Description

Beurre Hardy is a classic fruiting tree valued for its abundant, sweet, juicy pears and elegant growth habit. The tree develops a strong, upright structure with dense green foliage and produces fragrant white blossoms in spring, followed by delicious, smooth-skinned fruit ideal for fresh eating, cooking and preserves. Beurre Hardy is well suited to home gardens and small orchards, offering both ornamental interest and productive harvests.

In spring, the tree produces clusters of fragrant white flowers that attract pollinators and enhance garden biodiversity. It grows best in fertile, moisture retentive but well drained soil and performs particularly well in sunny positions where fruit ripens fully. Hardy and reliable, Beurre Hardy Pear provides consistent cropping and is well suited to UK gardens.
