Description
Aster amellus \’Rudolf Goethe\’ is a striking perennial cultivar admired for its vibrant violet-blue daisy-like flowers with yellow centres, which bloom from late summer into autumn. Its upright, clump-forming habit and fine green foliage provide structure and colour contrast in mixed borders, cottage gardens, and perennial plantings. This cultivar attracts bees and butterflies, supporting pollinators while adding extended seasonal interest when many other flowers are fading. Hardy and easy to grow, \’Rudolf Goethe\’ thrives in well-drained soils and full sun, making it a reliable and long-flowering addition to any garden. Regular deadheading can prolong the blooming period and maintain plant vigour.
