Description
Anemone hybrida \’Lorelei\’ is a charming perennial known for its soft light pink, semi-double flowers that create a delicate and romantic display in late summer and autumn borders. Blooming from August to October, the flowers rise elegantly above dark green, deeply divided foliage, providing striking contrast and vertical interest in mixed borders or cottage gardens. This variety is appreciated for its ability to bring late-season colour when many other perennials have finished flowering, attracting pollinators such as bees and butterflies. Easy to grow in well-drained soil, it performs best in full sun to partial shade and can be combined with grasses or taller perennials for a naturalistic effect. Anemone \’Lorelei\’ requires minimal maintenance, though occasional staking may help support taller flower stems in windy sites, and dividing clumps every few years maintains vigour and abundant flowering.
