Description
Alstroemeria aurea \’Lutea\’ is a striking perennial known for its bright yellow, lily-like flowers with delicate markings that add vibrant colour to summer and autumn borders. Blooming from mid-summer to early autumn, the trumpet-shaped flowers appear in clusters, creating a dramatic and cheerful display that attracts pollinators such as bees and butterflies. Its arching, strap-like leaves provide a lush green backdrop that complements the vivid blooms. This variety thrives in well-drained soil with full sun to partial shade and benefits from regular watering during dry periods. Low-maintenance and long-flowering, it is ideal for mixed borders, containers, or cut flower arrangements, bringing a tropical flair to temperate gardens.
