Alcea rosea ‘Spring Celebrities Lemon’ – 2026

Description

Alcea rosea ‘Spring Celebrities Lemon’ is a charming hollyhock cultivar known for its tall, stately stems topped with large, fully double, soft lemon-yellow flowers that bring a cheerful brightness to summer gardens. Blooming from mid-summer to early autumn, the flowers can reach up to 10 cm across, providing a striking vertical accent in borders, cottage gardens, or against walls and fences. Its delicate blooms attract pollinators like bees and butterflies, supporting garden biodiversity while offering long-lasting colour. Easy to grow from seed or young plants, this variety can self-seed under suitable conditions, ensuring blooms for future seasons. Staking in exposed locations, deadheading spent flowers, and occasional feeding help maintain strong growth and prolong the flowering period, making it a rewarding addition to any garden.
