Description
‘Madame Lemoine’ is a classic, award-winning white Lilac that remains incredibly popular for its large, showy panicles of intensely fragrant, tightly packed, pure white double flowers. The pristine white blooms open from pale, creamy-yellow buds, providing a brilliant, luminous display that is especially striking in evening light.
This shrub is tough and long-lived provided it is planted in full sun with fertile, well-drained soil. Regular deadheading is essential; prune the old flower heads off right down to the first set of healthy leaves to ensure strong growth and an abundance of white blooms for the next season.
Please Note: When purchasing plants, please consider that each live item is unique and may therefore differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only. The plant will be supplied in a growers pot. Depending on season, some plants may be pruned back to encourage growth and deciduous plants may arrive without leaves.
