Stachys ‘Silver Carpet’

Description

Stachys Silver Carpet is a low-growing perennial prized for its soft, velvety silver-grey leaves that form a dense, carpet-like mat. The foliage provides a striking texture and contrast in borders, rock gardens, and containers. While it may produce small, inconspicuous purple flowers in summer, the plant is grown primarily for its attractive, evergreen leaves. Its spreading habit makes it an excellent ground cover that brightens up any garden space.

Caring for Silver Carpet is relatively simple. Plant it in full sun or partial shade with well-drained soil, and water lightly during dry periods until it is established. Remove any old or damaged leaves in early spring to keep the plant looking tidy, and enjoy a hardy, low-maintenance perennial that will provide soft, silvery foliage year after year with minimal effort.

Please Note: When purchasing plants, please consider that each live item is unique and may therefore differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only. The plant will be supplied in a growers pot. Depending on season, some plants may be pruned back to encourage growth and deciduous plants may arrive without leaves.
