Rhubarb ‘Champagne’

Description

Our Rheum rhabarbarum Champagne is a herbaceous perennial plant. Bright red stems of Rhubarb will form earlier in the year with this variety, beginning to grow from early Spring onwards. The plants large, bright green foliage appears in Summer, before being joined by elegant, cream flowers as Autumn approaches. This edible Rhubarb can be used to add a sweet and juicy flavour to sauces, jams, pies and more.

They will grow to an ultimate height of 0.6m and ultimate spread of 1.2m. In terms of plant care, it should be placed in bright, indirect sunlight and planted in moist, well-drained soil. Watering becomes essential when the soil is dry to touch.
