Pilot Apple

Description

The Pilot apple is a high-quality, late-season variety known for its crisp, juicy texture and sweet flavour, which improves with storage. Ready for harvest in mid to late October, Pilot apples are excellent for fresh eating and keep well for extended periods, making them ideal for winter use. This apple requires a pollination partner from Groups 2-4 and offers strong disease resistance, including resilience against common issues like apple scab. With manageable growth on dwarfing rootstocks, Pilot reaches up to 4 meters (13 feet) in height, making it suitable for gardens of various sizes. Its low-maintenance nature and robust flavor make Pilot a top choice for apple enthusiasts and home gardeners alike.
