Description
Phlox paniculata ‘Purple Kiss’ is a compact perennial with dark green lance-shaped foliage. From midsummer into early autumn it produces large clusters of fragrant, deep purple overlapping petals surrounding a small white eye, which attract bees and butterflies and add bold contrast and colour to borders, mixed perennial beds and containers. It offers ecological value as well as strong visual appeal.
Thriving in fertile, moist but well-drained soil, ‘Purple Kiss’ prefers full sun to partial shade. Good air circulation helps reduce disease risk; deadheading of spent blooms encourages continued flowering and helps maintain a neat habit. Phlox paniculata ‘Purple Kiss’ combines striking colour, compact habit and wildlife benefit, making it a strong choice for UK gardens.
