Description
Phlox paniculata Autumn Joy is a robust perennial valued for its abundant clusters of soft pink flowers that bloom from midsummer into early autumn. The upright flower spikes rise above lush green foliage, adding height, structure, and long-lasting colour to borders, cottage gardens, or mixed planting schemes. Its nectar-rich blooms attract bees, butterflies, and other pollinators, providing both ornamental and ecological benefits.
Thriving in fertile, well-drained soil, this hardy perennial prefers full sun to partial shade and forms dense, low-maintenance clumps that return reliably each year. Regular deadheading encourages further blooms and helps maintain a neat habit. Phlox paniculata Autumn Joy combines long-lasting colour, wildlife support, and resilience, making it a versatile and rewarding choice for UK gardens seeking summer and early autumn interest.
