Petunia Hot Pink Basket Plants

Description

The Petunia Hot Pink is an unapologetically bright, mat-forming variety that will aggressively cover the sides of a hanging basket in a matter of weeks. It is highly susceptible to frost but acts as an absolute, unstoppable blooming machine during the height of the warm summer months. It features sticky leaves that emit a musky scent and requires an acidic soil pH to properly absorb vital nutrients.

This incredibly fast grower requires a ‘normal’, steady supply of water to keep its thick, fleshy stems from collapsing under their own weight. Check the surface daily and apply water the moment the top compost feels dry, keeping the lower soil profile pleasantly damp. A consistent watering schedule prevents the plant from stressing and forces it to continuously push out new, bright pink buds.

Please Note: When purchasing plants, please consider that each live item is unique and may therefore differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only. The plant will be supplied in a growers pot. Depending on season, some plants may be pruned back to encourage growth and deciduous plants may arrive without leaves.
