Description
Kniphofia ‘Timothy’ is a compact and vibrant perennial that adds bold colour and architectural interest to the garden. Its upright flower spikes feature fiery red-orange tubular blooms with golden-yellow bases, creating a striking, two-toned effect. The neat clumps of narrow, grass-like green foliage provide structure and contrast, allowing the flower spikes to take centre stage. Ideal for borders, mixed plantings, or containers, ‘Timothy’ offers long-lasting summer colour in sunny locations.
This hardy perennial thrives in well-drained soils and prefers full sun. Flowering from midsummer into early autumn, ‘Timothy’ is valued for its reliable blooms, low-maintenance growth, and ability to attract pollinators such as bees and butterflies. Its combination of vibrant colouring, upright form, and compact habit makes it an excellent choice for adding ornamental and ecological value to a wide range of sunny garden schemes.
