Description
Iris sibirica \’Currier\’ is a refined Siberian iris that stands out for its delicate yet striking flowers. The blooms feature soft lavender-blue petals with prominent golden signals, accented by fine veining that enhances their intricate beauty. The slender, upright foliage creates elegant clumps that provide architectural interest long after the flowers have faded, making it a versatile choice for mixed borders, meadow-style plantings, or near ponds and streams.
This hardy perennial thrives in moist but well-drained soils and performs best in full sun to partial shade. Flowering in early to mid-summer, \’Currier\’ is admired for its resilience, low-maintenance growth, and ability to attract pollinators such as bees and butterflies. Its graceful habit and long-lasting colour make it a valuable addition to gardens where both beauty and reliability are desired.
