Description
Iris germanica ‘Dorcas Lives Again’ is a tall bearded iris cultivar introduced by Bernice Miller in 1984. It features elegant light lavender flowers with a paler spot under a light yellow beard, complemented by a mild fragrance. This cultivar is known for its early bloom and reblooming habit, making it a standout in gardens.
The plant forms upright clumps of sword-shaped, glaucous green foliage that remain attractive after flowering. It thrives in full sun and well-drained soil, making it suitable for borders, rock gardens, or as a focal point in the landscape. Regular division helps maintain vigour and flowering performance. The flowers attract pollinators and contribute to biodiversity, making it both decorative and ecologically beneficial.
