Description
Hosta ‘Touch of Class’ is a medium-sized perennial that forms a dense, clump-forming mound of heart-shaped leaves. The leaves are intense blue with a striking chartreuse to yellow centre and green jetting between the centre and the margin. In midsummer, it produces tall spikes bearing pale lavender flowers, adding vertical interest to shaded garden spaces. This cultivar thrives in moist, well-drained soils and prefers partial shade to full shade, making it a versatile addition to woodland gardens, borders, or containers.
Beyond its visual appeal, Hosta ‘Touch of Class’ offers ecological benefits by providing nectar for pollinators such as bees and butterflies. Its dense foliage also helps suppress weeds, reducing the need for chemical interventions. With minimal maintenance requirements, it is a reliable and long-lasting choice for gardeners seeking a low-maintenance yet striking plant for shaded areas.
