Description
Hosta ‘Tom Rex’ is a large perennial that forms a bold, upright mound of heart-shaped leaves. The leaves are deep green with a slightly wavy margin, displaying a matte finish that adds texture to shaded garden spaces. In early to mid-summer, it produces tall spikes bearing white flowers, adding vertical interest to shaded garden areas. This cultivar thrives in moist, well-drained soils and is ideal for shaded or partially shaded areas, making it a versatile addition to woodland gardens, borders, or containers.
Beyond its visual appeal, Hosta ‘Tom Rex’ offers ecological benefits by providing nectar for pollinators such as bees and butterflies.
