Description
Hosta ‘Green Kabitan’ is a compact, clump-forming perennial known for its striking foliage and tidy habit. The lance-shaped, slightly corrugated leaves emerge bright gold with a narrow green margin, creating a vibrant contrast in shaded borders, woodland gardens, or container plantings. Its dense, rounded mound provides texture and year-round ornamental value while helping suppress weeds, making it an excellent low-maintenance choice.
In mid to late summer, ‘Green Kabitan’ produces slender scapes with pale lavender, bell-shaped flowers that rise above the foliage, adding vertical interest and attracting pollinators. The plant prefers rich, moist, well-drained soil and partial to full shade. Regular watering and mulching maintain leaf vigour and appearance, while its resilience and durability make it a reliable garden performer.
