Description
Hemerocallis ‘Purplelicious’ is a striking daylily cultivar known for its deep purple-red flowers with a darker eyezone and a green throat, creating a dramatic and eye-catching display in the garden. The lightly ruffled petals add texture and visual interest, and its reliable early to mid-summer blooming provides a prolonged display of colour, making it ideal for borders, containers, or mass plantings.
The arching, semi-evergreen foliage forms a compact clump that complements the flowers and provides year-round structure. ‘Purplelicious’ is low-maintenance and resilient, thriving in full sun to partial shade with well-drained soil. Its ornamental appeal and consistent flowering habit make it suitable for a variety of garden settings while supporting pollinators.
